  • Learn how Caterpillars turn to butterflies (Metamorphosis

  • Learn how to observe and keep notes

 

 Materials needed:

  • Pencil

  • Paper/Notebook

  • Colored pencils/Crayons​​

THE WATER CYCLE

What is the water cycle?  Have you ever wonder how it rains, snows, or hails?  Where does it all go once it is done storming?

Today we will explore the different steps of the water cycle and how it works!

The water cycle has 4 stages.  In the presentation above I listed the main 3 but there is also a final stage called "collection"  This stage is when water that falls from the clouds in the form of rain, snow, hail or sleet, collect in lakes, oceans, and other bodies of water.

How can I remember the steps to the water cycle?

Music is one way to remember information that is usually easily forgotten.  Have you ever heard a song from when you were little and still remembered the words??  Music is amazing!  Watch this video about the water cycle to help you remember it!

After the video, draw a picture of Condensation, evaporation, and precipitation! 

Our solar system and galaxy

What is a solar system?  It is the Sun and everything that goes around it.  This includes the 8 planets and their moons!

Our solar system is bigger than you could ever imagine! There are millions of stars.  So much of outer space hasn't even been discovered yet.
